School activity
As opening party to the bicentennial celebration of our founding, Initial education includes the presence of the Assumption in some countries.

The congregation founded by Maria Eugenia is an international congregation from its origins: Maria Eugenia was French and Thérèse Emmanuel, Irish. Already in 1849, passionate about the extension of the Kingdom of God, Maria Eugenia, sent a first community to the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa (Africa); in 1873, he pushed his missionary desire to start another community in New Caledonia (Oceania); and in 1892, another in Leon of Nicaragua (Central America). Throughout the early communities increase in number and sisters, especially in Europe, because the vocations were numerous: France, England, Spain (also the Philippines between 1854 and 1895) and Italy. The principles were tough in Africa and Oceania.

These first two foundations were disappearing because the sisters sickened and because the distance communication difficult.Currently, the Assumption is rooted in different cultures, distributed in 18 provinces with communities:

Eleven African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Niger, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania and Togo.

Ten of America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Mexico and Nicaragua.

Five of Asia: Philippines, India, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Six of Europe: Belgium, Spain, France, England, Italy and Lithuania.
